Rules For Posting

1. CebuCyberMoto is an online community for motorcyclists of all ages, gender and race we are not a club. We have members from faraway shores and as such ALL members are encouraged to post in English wherever possible so that we can all understand the topics. Please do not use “text speak”. If your English grammar is not so good don’t worry, it’s the fact that you bothered to try that counts, and we thank you for that.

2. Post in the appropriate forum. We have lots of forums here, I'm sure you can find the right one for whatever you'd like to post. Try using the search option before creating a new topic, the answer you are looking for may already be there.

3. Be descriptive with subjects of posts. It's easier for everyone if you make the subjects of your posts as descriptive as possible. A subject heading of "HELP!!!" or "what do you guys..." or "Problem, need help" are not descriptive at all. Something along the lines of "Electrical problem" or "what's wrong with my brakes" is much more useful. Also, profanity in thread titles is prohibited. Moderators of the site will change subject headings if they are not descriptive enough.

4. Users are not allowed to create multiple accounts. There's really no reason for anyone having more than one account. If we find a user with multiple accounts, the extra accounts will be deleted unless special arrangements are made.

5. NO SPAM!!! This is pretty self-explanatory. If we find SPAM on CebuCyberMoto, the thread will be deleted (or altered as we see fit).

6. Porn and other questionable material is restricted. Porn is not acceptable! Anyone posting porn will be banned. Admirers of the female form can post scantily clad pictures in the correct thread, but no pictures of genitalia please. Moderators will monitor and remove any offensive material, and the user will be warned. Consistent abuse of this rule will result in a ban. Please be aware we have lady riders using this forum too, so let’s show some respect to those female members please guys. Also gory or graphic images that may upset or offend will be removed. If you are inserting a link to this kind of material ensure your post has a warning message so as those with weak stomachs can choose not to open the link. Failure to comply will result in a warning and the removal of the post.

7. Abuse of members will NOT be tolerated!!! This is an online community and therefore, we expect some abuse to happen. However, if it does happen, we will take action. We realize that not everyone will get along with everyone else, and most folks don't have the same views. However, be adults about disagreements and don't start a flame-war. Abuse is determined at the discretion of the Admins and Mods. If we think someone is being abusive (attacks, insults, defamation of character, slander, etc etc etc) we will be forced to take action. We can't catch everything, so if you think abuse is occurring and we haven't addressed it, feel free to use the "report to moderator" button in the post. Incidentally, "flaming" and "debating" are two totally different things. Debates are perfectly acceptable and encouraged! Criticism of other members and their rides will also not be tolerated. Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit and as such should not be used towards other members of CebuCyberMoto.

8. Has someone offended you? Then please tell the moderators so appropriate action can be taken. We want our site to be a happy place where people with a passion for bikes can meet new friends and chat about anything under the sun.
